Hello Voices,

It is nice to have you back here. Today I want to talk about a topic that many announcers give a lot of importance to:

HOW TO HAVE A DEEPER VOICE.

Although circumstances have changed in advertising and in the media worldwide, where the low or "radio" voices increasingly lose field to the middle voices, given the world is now demanding more natural voices, more well-placed middle voices that are capable of nuancing, acting, and transmitting emotions, I have anyways decided to attend to your various requests and to make this micro article to describe what the process to achieve A DEEPER VOICE in a few minutes is.

The process goes as follows:
1. Larynx in lower position.
2. Relax the vocal cords and release tension.
3. Send your voice resonance to the chest resonator and,
4. Taking all of this into account, be clear about the interpretation or character you are going to represent... and you’re ready!

Another exercise that can help you practice the lower register is to inhale deep and make a high pitched "A", then lower your voice to the chest resonator with the letter "O" on a deeper pitch. Repeat this exercise 5 times until you feel like you're talking comfortably in that placement of your voice. Be careful that the throat does NOT tighten (Do not scrape) with this exercise.

It is important to know that there are people with a greater ability to have a deeper, broader, and more resonant lower register than others. That is due to the voice’s tessitura and physical complexion, which is something we are born with, normally, this type of individuals are baritones or basses, these people usually have a deeper register, much better placed than a person who was born with a tenor tessitura, whose resonance is richer and more powerful in the higher pitched ranges. However, a tenor can exercise his medium and lower register with very good results... sometimes amazing results even, it depends on the effort that each individual puts into his or her instrument, respecting the limits of our body.

I send you a big hug, let me know if this article was useful to you on my social media.

WELCOME TO THE TEAM! KEEP PRACTICING!
Gabo.
